At Boca Bargoons Fabrics, we cherish the stories behind each project! On the blog today we are highlighting a design project led by our wonderful Boca Bargoons of Sarasota manager, Natalia Chavez.
Ms. Hamm’s journey with us in December of 2022 was one that truly resonated with our passion for crafting unique and functional solutions for our customers. The finished product was featured in Sarasota Magazine.
Ms. Hamm came to Boca Bargoons with a distinct vision: she desired blackout curtains that would not only serve their traditional purpose but also double as acoustic panels for her piano room and master bedroom. It was a challenge we were excited to take on!
For the master bedroom, the chosen fabric was a Carole masterpiece: the Northbound pattern in an elegant White shade. Crafting these curtains required 37 yards of 130” wide fabric, ensuring a perfect fit and optimal functionality.
The piano room project called for a different touch, where Ms. Hamm opted for an in-stock Kravet linen blend, requiring 25 yards to achieve the desired look and acoustic properties.
To harmonize aesthetics with functionality, Ms. Hamm decided on a ripplefold style for both rooms. The soft, natural appearance of this choice complemented the elegance of the fabrics, enhancing the rooms’ ambiance.
For the hardware, Natalia recommended Kirsch’s Architrac Series 94003. The Baton draw track, known for its durability and versatility, was the ideal fit for Ms. Hamm’s requirements.
Throughout the process, our store manager, Natalia, provided dedicated assistance and expertise. Her guidance and support ensured that Ms. Hamm’s vision seamlessly translated into reality. Natalia’s commitment to customer satisfaction embodies our ethos of personalized service. Upon completion, Ms. Hamm expressed her delight with both the fabrication and installation of the drapes.
